I finally divided my Hohenbergia correia-araujoi aka 'Fudge Ripple'
I bought a single pup of this Hohenbergia at a bromeliad show about 15 or more years ago. In all my years of plant sales and bromeliad show since, I have never seen this one offered again.
It is one of the most attractive large growing (even when Not in bloom) bromeliads there are. When in bloom even more spectacular. This plant takes many years to mature and get big enough to bloom. I am offering 3 pups, 2 large, that are very near blooming size (will probably bloom next year) for $20 each and one smaller one for $10. These cannot take full sun but maintain their beautiful reddish/white color in morning sun or filtered afternoon sun. Since I can't post photos here anymore, just google the name Hohenbergia correia-araujoi and check out the images.
Beachpalms@cfl.rr.com call or text 321-265-1494. Can also text photos if needed. Thanks.
