Nice set of photos.  The big orange jobs above are a Brazilian bromeliad that sometimes lives on beaches.  Plants that get the bright orange color got selected in cultivation.  They will be bright in full sun and a bit of cool weather helps, too.  Aechmea blanchetiana.  A few years ago, they were kind of hard to get, now pretty abundant.
