A few weeks ago I stumbled on a sandy ledge. Catching myself the treble hooks punctured directly into my legs. One punctured all the way through which was easy to remove. Other one I had to puncture through with plyers and a fork. WOOOF! Could have been worse I guess..

Well at least it wasn't your balls that got punctured.

Been there. But how on earth did you manage to get stuck by all three hooks?

Just thinking - Is your tetanus shot up to date? And keep an eye on infection, punctures are tough to clean. Dad hat back off.

I burried a Rapala in a buddy's noggin, just one hook. Had to use the old string and door knob method. That took some years to live down.

Cole when I stumbled on the hill all of my weight landed me on top of the yozuri top water plug attached to the liter attached to the pole in my other hand. 4 tips were impaled in both legs (2 treble hooks on one plug stuck in between my legs lol). Two ends were only flesh punctures and somehow popped out when I tugged on them. The other two were deeply impaled (notice pics). One went all the way through like butter and slid right out after some pulling. The last one went half way through. I took about 6 shots of jack d and bit down. Plyers and a kitchen fork did the job isgust; Tom thanks for the dad hat help luckily I was up to date with tet shots. 3rdworldlover I stumbled upon a sting ray in the banana flats fishing.. That poison will take ALOT of years to live down

Not even gonna click on those photos. I've had a treble hook go thru my shin when I was younger. Lure got stuck on a tree and while trying to pull hard to get it off it comes whizzing into my shin. Ouch. Dr. found it amusing. I didn't.

I get hooked several times a year by clients. I keep a small tube of lidocaine/prilocaine in both boats. Ask the doc for a script

the barbs are only on hooks to keep any live bait on your hook
