Was trying to get Pompano but instead caught 4 Sheepsheads in a matter of 30 min span. There are (were) many fish nearshore around hig tide, pretty sure I saw a Snook. Small fish getting hit, some bigger splashes further offshore. At least I did not get any catfish which was a nice change. By the fourth SheepsHead I was over it, seemed like they were out in large numbers, cast out..wait a few mins, and bam, fish on...Big sandfleas everywhere, would be even better if high tide was at dawn. |

Fished last night, caught two fat speckled trout in the wash along with bluefish and sheepshead. Throwing jigs. |

That's awesome, although a bit of a pain to clean sheepies are one of my favorite fish to eat.
I remember one winter when the water was clear surfing small CB waves over them small groups and ones and twos. Also poked a few behind hangers with the old pole spear ------------------------- I troll 2L.com to be a better person in real life |
