This is the first I have heard of an ESA Contest on Labor Day. I will look it up but can't imagine that there will be and ESA event during the Labor Day Festival Please call us at 321 784-5661. We would appreciate very much a reschedule, if someone inadvertantly did this. This is our 25th anniversery and I can't even fathom that someone may not know about this. Please come out and help us Save Lives! Please Join us at the Pier. Thanks Richard Salick Director, Community Relations Former 4A rated ESA Surfer East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame 2000 (Did I need to do that?)

Note:   I just revisd the schedule of events (see towards top of thread).

NKF is trying to get in touch w/ the Director of ESA Central FL to request a re-schedule.  Same thing happen last year w/ NSSA and they understood the importance of us trying to raise money TO HELP SAVE LIVES.

Each month in FL, approx 600+ applications come to NKF from people asking for help ~ they only have enough funds to help 200 patients a month.  American Heart Association is realizing that a lot of heart attacks are caused from kidney problems.  We're trying to raise money to HELP SAVE LIVES and to educate the public.  If you're NOT an organ donor ~ I urge you to become one.  Each organ donor can save 7 lives and they can affect/help 33 lives.

Every Thursday night there is a VOLUNTEER meeting at CBSC in the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame room on 3rd Floor at 7PM.  Due to bad economy, we are having to work twice as hard to collect donations for the silent auction.  We urge you to bring us any 're-gifts' you may have, baskets, wine, gift certificates you may have that you can donate to NKF or even $5.00 cash to meetings.  We can collect the smaller donations & make a basket to auction off at the silent auction to raise money.  Every little bit helps, even a $1.00 donation can make a difference!

Thank You for Supporting the National Kidney Foundation of Florida!!!
For more information call 407-894-7325 or visit www.nkfsurf.com

If you can NOT attend the volunteer meeting and would like to donate something, please contact me at aloha_fl@hotmail.com and I will make arrangements for a pick up.  Mahalo & God Bless
