This retreat is my idea to bring together surfers who care about our oceans and want to trade ideas on how to solve the challenges our oceans and beaches face - pollution, erosion, and public access. It will benefit the Tamarindo Surfrider chapter, and local surf businesses will also be involved in the discussion. The reason I picked Tamarindo is that it already has been affected by overdevelopment, but there are areas surrounding it that are relatively still pristine.
