Monday: 1-3 feet in ESE swell

  Next update Sunday morning.
Waiting for Sunday models. We should see a small swell from that weak low to the East-SE of us. So far virtual buoys don't show much. However, NHC saying good chance of formation to a depression.

Wednesday: 1-3 feet in SE wind swell
Wednesday: 1-3 feet in SE wind swell

Looks like continued conditions. Basically summertime SE winds and small waves.

We probably will see a bump up of SE trade wind swell late Sunday and into Monday. A tropical wave has been moving across the Atlantic and slated to be East of the Bahamas by late weekend. These weak systems always bumps up the swell a little bit.

No major swells in the long range forecast.

Next update Saturday morning.

Monday: 1-3 feet in SE trade wind swell
Monday: 1-3 feet in SE swell.

Looks like 1-3 feet surf all week and into the weekend.

Basically SE wind swell and mix of SE trade wind swell.

Looking at the tropics. That storm Franklin looks to move into the Yucatan on Tuesday and into the gulf the next few days. NHC tracking it into Mexico.

The possible storm way out in the Atlantic has small probability of forming. However, it looks to continue to move towards us the next few days as a tropical wave. This system may give us some surf for late weekend and Monday. Probably small though but with a longer swell period from the SE.

No major swell makers are showing in the long range forecast. But, it is heating up out there. Only a matter of time!

Next update Wednesday morning.

  Sunday: small surf 1-3 feet

Small SE trade wind swell. Same summer time swell should stick around all week. Maybe an uptick on Monday and into Tuesday. Looking at the tropics and the possibility of hurricane surf went down with Sunday's model runs. However, we should see a bigger SE trade wind swell into next weekend.

No major swell makers in the long range forecast.

Next update Monday morning.

Wednesday: 1-3 feet in small swell
Wednesday: remnant swell still sticking around.

Mostly 1-3 feet in long waits for sets. That low is still spinning off of the Carolinas. It is weak but maybe it will keep us in small rideable waves into the weekend. Check the reports/cams/buoys.

Small SE trade wind swell for the weekend also.

Early next week we may see bigger SE wind swell.

No major swell makers in the forecast.

Next update Thursday night.

Monday: small/flat in the morning. Building small NE swell in afternoon
Monday: small/flat morning. We should see a small NE swell build into the afternoon around 1-3 feet.

Low pressure off of New England looks to send a small NE swell Monday afternoon and into Tuesday. Size looks to be around 2-3 feet.

Monday morning and NHC is calling the blob of weather over Tampa a Tropical Storm. Emily is the name. That system looks to move over the State and into the Atlantic. The models do not show any further development. However, something to keep an eye on! Maybe we see swell from this system if it moves into the Atlantic and spins up some.

After the NE swell looks to get small again and virtual buoy models shows an uptick of SE trade wind swell Friday and the weekend.

Local wind predictions are tricky with a low on top of us. Check the conditions before driving a distance.

Next update Wednesday morning.

  Saturday/Sunday: small/flat
Weekend: small to flat

Not much swell for the weekend.

We may see a small NE swell on Tuesday from that off-season low pressure system off of Hatteras. Keep an eye on the buoys for anything sneaking in. Models have it hugging the coast but there may be some NE wind fetch pointed at us the next few days. Virtual buoys shows a tick-up on Tuesday. Probably only last a day or two.

Nothing major showing on the weather charts. However, we should see an uptick of SE trade wind swell later on in the week. Probably Thursday and a tad bigger on Friday (1-3 feet) in typical summertime surf.

Next update Sunday night.

We should see small SE trade wind swell. A weak tropical wave has moving towards us the past few days and that should bump the surf up mid-week. Virtual buoy models shows Thursday with the biggest size.

*WARNING* Long range models shows a strong hurricane on top of Central Florida in ten days. Models are often wrong that far out but something to watch. July 20th.

Next update Wednesday morning.
