Sunday: 1-2 feet with South winds.
Sunday: 1-2 feet with South wind chop.
It looks like similar conditions for the next few days. Virtual buoy models are showing an increase towards the end of the week. It looks like we will see a stronger SE trade wind swell then. Next update Monday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Friday: 1-2 feet, choppy conditions.
Friday: 1-2 feet wind chop.
Small rideable waves can be found but expect small and choppy conditions. It looks like it will stay around 1-2 feet the next few days. The weekend may see a small bump up to 3 feet with SE trade wind swell. Onshore winds are forecast for the next few days as well and keeping it in choppy conditions. No major swell makers are showing in the long range forecast. Next update Sunday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Wednesday: Small wind chop
Wednesday: Small wind chop around 1-2 feet.
Not much of any swell is showing in the forecast. Mostly just super small 1-2 feet wind chop if that. We may see a slight uptick into early next week with SE trade wind swell picking up. Looks like the summer flat season is upon us. Hurricane season starts June 1st. Next update Thursday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Wednesday: continued NE ground swell with offshore winds 1-3 feet.
Wednesday: 1-3 feet in NE swell and offshore winds.
Swell continues to show on the buoys. High tide in the morning with low tide in the afternoon. Surf looks to be rideable into Wednesday with a declining and inconsistent swell. Surf drops even further into Thursday and the weekend. Models are showing the potential for more surf next week. Tuesday/Wednesday they are showing the chance of E-SE swell. A High pressure system looks to position itself out in the Atlantic where the bottom half of it has a E-SE wind fetch point at Florida. Also, a weak low pressure system may form off the Florida coast on Tuesday with another High filling in behind it. So, we may see a new swell next week. Continued NE swell for Wednesday, then dropping into Thursday and the weekend. It may be rideable after Wednesday but expect small surf. New swell for next week. Next update Sunday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Tuesday: continued 2-3+ feet
Tuesday: 2-3+ feet and glassy conditions.
We should see continued swell into Tuesday. It probably will last into Wednesday (but drop further in size) as well. Local wind forecast calls for offshore winds both days as well. This swell has been great. It has dropped since the weekend but we should see continued swell for the next couple of days. High tide in the morning, so probably better surf for the mid-day low tide. It looks to drop even further into Thursday but I imagine it will remain small and rideable. Swell period models continue to show long period swell towards the end of the week, but probably pretty small surf size. No major swell makers are in the long range forecast. Next update Tuesday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Sunday: Surfs Up
Surf has been really big Friday and Saturday and super fun. Sunday looks a tad smaller with offshore winds. Low tide at 11am.
I'll take a look at the forecast later Sunday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Friday: Continued swell. 4-5+ feet.
Friday: 4-5+ feet in continued swell.
Local wind forecast looks to be tricky the next few days. A weak low pressure system has formed in the Gulf and looks to move over the State and into the Atlantic for the weekend. With a low so close to us it is difficult to predict the wind direction. The NWS marine forecast calls for strong NE winds for Friday and East on Saturday. Then West winds for Sunday and early in the week. However, that may change on where the low pressure moves. We should see surf the next few days. There is a long fetch of NE winds pointed at us from off of Newfoundland to Hatteras. This NE wind fetch should keep us in a 3-5+ foot NE ground swell through Tuesday. We should see rideable surf for the next few days. Check the local conditions before heading out as the wind forecast looks to change for better or worse. Next update Sunday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Wednesday: continued 3-5 feet with choppy conditions.
Wednesday: 3-5 feet with choppy conditions.
Tuesday morning found really good surf in the 3-5+ range with glassy conditions. I expect this long period swell to continue into Wednesday but start to taper off in size. Local winds look to blow from the East to SE and keeping it in choppy conditions. A weak low pressure system is currently forming off of Jacksonville and looks to fade away into Thursday. Another low pressure system looks to spin off of Newfoundland. A high pressure system looks to be in-between these two systems and provide NE winds from Florida up to Canada. This weather scenario should keep us in surf for the next few days and into the weekend. Another low looks to form in the Gulf on Friday and drift over the State over the weekend. This looks like an interesting situation. If it was hurricane season I would say this system has a chance to form into something. But, keep an eye on it. With all this weather, it looks like we will see mostly strong onshore winds through the weekend and early next week. This means we will see choppy rideable surf for the foreseeable future. Now until early next week it looks to be around 3-5+ feet with super choppy conditions. It looks like plenty of opportunity to work those paddling muscles! Next update Friday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Tuesday: 3-5 feet
Tuesday: 3-5 feet.
Glassy morning with afternoon chop. Winds look to be SW for Tuesday morning but with afternoon onshore wind looks to develop. Long period swell is still showing on the buoys. I haven't been able to look at the forecast. So, next update Wednesday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Next update Monday night.

Saturday: 2-3 feet with choppy conditions.
Saturday: 2-3 feet with choppy conditions.
We should see the onshore wind flow pick up into Saturday. This should bump up the wind swell to 3-4 feet. Also, a very long period swell should start showing on the buoys Saturday night and into Sunday. Look for long wait between sets but should have some size when they do. This swell may be delayed into Monday. Check the buoys for any sign of long period swell to see when it starts to hit. The timing is difficult as this swell is traveling from a long way away. Local winds look to blow from the East then SE the next couple of days and keeping the conditions choppy. Mix of wind and ground swell going into early next week. We could see some size with this long period swell the next few days. Something to keep an eye on! Next update Sunday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Thursday: 2-3 feet in small swell.
Thursday: 2-3 feet.
Thursday morning surf was real fun with the glassy conditions. Wind looks to blow onshore into the afternoon. Friday looks to drop in size a little bit but remain rideable around 1-2 feet. A stronger onshore wind flow looks to pick up Friday afternoon and into the weekend. This looks to keep us in choppy rideable surf for the weekend around 3-4 feet. Small wind swell looks to go into early next week as well. A possible nice size long period swell is showing on the charts! Virtual buoys and swell period models shows a very long period swell arrive sometime between Sunday and Monday. Early models showed it for Sunday but now have pushed it into Monday. This swell looks to be coming from a long way away from a strong storm in the Middle of the North Atlantic. Swell looks to last into Wed and Thursday. This swell looks to have some size to it. Very long range models shows another intense low pressure storm system form near Bermuda around mid-week. This one looks pretty good for a big NE swell. Its in the long range though. Something to keep an eye on! Next update Friday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Tuesday: 3-5 feet and choppy conditions
Tuesday: 3-5 feet with Northerly side-shore chop.
Swell picked up into Monday with stronger NE winds. Local winds look to blow from the North-East into Tuesday. Swell looks to remain rideable for the next few days. Local winds look to blow strong NE for Tuesday but slow down some into Wednesday. Wednesday could be a pretty fun day with remaining swell and lighter winds. Swell looks to drop into Thursday and Friday but remain rideable around 2-3 feet. Winds continue to be onshore but not that strong. A strong storm is looking to set up in the middle of the Atlantic. Swell period models shows a swell from this system over the weekend. Its traveling from a long way away so I'm not too sure but virtual buoy forecast shows 16 to 17 second periods for Sunday. 3-5 feet for Tuesday and remaining choppy. Winds slack off some into mid-week with remaining mix of NE wind and ground swell. We should see small rideable waves into the weekend with the potential of long period swell for Sunday. Next update Wednesday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Sunday: 2-3+ feet with choppy conditions.
Sunday: 2-3 feet in choppy conditions.
NE winds look to pick up into Sunday and the surf should as well. A stalled front over Florida and a developing low pressure off the coast looks to kick the surf up into Monday. Stronger NE winds look to develop. Size looks around 3-5 feet for Monday and lasting into Tuesday. We should see rideable surf all of next week. Mostly onshore wind swell with a mix of NE ground swell. Local winds look to blow hard onshore late Sunday and into Monday. Swell looks to build from that and last into at least into mid-week. Also, another low pressure system may form off the Florida coast into mid-week. This may change up the swell and wind forecast. Long range models shows continued swell into next weekend as well! Next update Monday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |
||

|
|
Friday: continued choppy 2-3 feet.
Friday: 2-3 feet with choppy conditions.
A south wind looks to turn SE into Friday afternoon. This should keep the conditions choppy and rideable into the weekend. A cold front looks to stall on top of Central Florida over the weekend. Local wind looks to shift from the North to NW to NE with where the front is positioned. Bigger surf is forecast for early week. Stronger NE winds and a low pressure look to develop along the stalled front and move out to sea. Local winds look to briefly blow offshore on Saturday morning then switch to the NE into the afternoon. Maybe a brief period of glassy conditions while this happens. Check the reports and buoys as the weather looks to quickly change into the weekend with the stalled front and its positioning. Next update Sunday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |

|
Tuesday: 1-2 feet in small NE swell.
Tuesday: 1-2 feet in small NE swell.
I'm not too sure there is a rideable wave out there. Check the reports. We may see very small rideable surf for the rest of the week. An onshore wind looks to happen each day. Also, a departing low pressure system is moving to the NE. Check the buoys and reports for any sign of a bigger swell. But, basically looks to stay small onshore wind swell. Long range forecast shows some hope for early next week. The virtual buoys are showing an uptick for then. Something to keep an eye on! Small onshore wind swell for the next few days and into the weekend. Next update Wednesday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

Saturday: small to barely rideable
Saturday: 1-2 feet in small swell.
Looks to be small to barely rideable for Saturday. A small NE swell is showing on the Canaveral buoy, so it should be rideable somewhere. Check the reports for anything. A weak front is currently draped over Florida. This system looks to have stalled and is forecast to move back North. Calm winds Saturday morning turn onshore into the afternoon. A weak low pressure system looks to move up the coast. We should see very similar conditions for the next few days. 1-2 feet with glassy mornings and afternoon chop. It looks like we slide into a summer weather pattern next week. A pick up in East to SE trade wind swell looks to happen mid-week. A Bermuda High pressure system looks to form and looks to be far enough North so we get a good east wind fetch pointed at us. No major swell makers are in the long range forecast. Next update Sunday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |

|
Thursday: 2-3 feet in choppy conditions.
Thursday: 2-3 feet with choppy conditions.
Surf should be rideable. But, local winds look to be SE to South and chop it out. A cold front is looking to attempt to move through Florida on Friday. Local winds look to blow South to eventually SW into Friday afternoon. We should see a clean up when that happens. It looks like it may be small/rideable into Saturday but I'm not too sure. Check the reports for anything. No major swell makers are in the long range forecast. Next update Friday night. ------------------------- surf forecast |
||
|
|
|
Tuesday: continued 2-3 feet
Tuesday: 2-3 feet in continued swell.
It looks like we will stay in small rideable swell for the next couple of days. Local winds look to blow from the SE into Wednesday and Thursday. South winds into Friday and maybe SW into Friday afternoon. No major swell makers are in the long range forecast. Next update Thursday morning. ------------------------- surf forecast |
