Wednesday: 2-4 feet in choppy conditions
Wednesday: 2-4 feet. Chop.

Persistent onshore wind flow looks to keep blowing the next few days and into the weekend. The models show the wind slowing down early next week.

There is also a weak low pressure system between Puerto Rico and Bermuda. This system looks to reinforce the swell into the weekend. Weekend should pick up in size. Unfortunately, the local onshore wind is predicted to blow strong as well.

Next update Thursday night.

Saturday 2-3 feet in small swell
Saturday: 2-3 feet in small swell.

Light wind in the morning with afternoon onshores.

A small swell continues to show on the buoys. Check the reports for the best spots.

Swell looks to last the next few days but stay on the small side. Virtual buoys show NE long period swell Sunday and into early next week.

Wind on Monday is forecast to pick up from the SE and making it choppy. Maybe a clean up into Tuesday.

Next update Sunday night.

Monday: 2 to 3 feet in semi-choppy surf
Monday: 2 to 3 feet in semi-choppy surf

Looks like we will have a new long period swell fill in Monday and into Tuesday. A weak low pressure system is currently East of the Bahamas. Buoy NE of the Bahamas reports large seas and coming this way.

Tuesday looks to have some size. Light offshore wind is forecast in the morning with afternoon onshore. High tide in morning.

Swell looks to last into Mid-week and slowly taper off into late week.

Local wind forecast looks like light winds in morning with afternoon onshores.

Next update Tuesday night.

Looking at that low pressure East of the Bahamas today. I'll update later today with the afternoon model runs. Looks like we will get surf from it.

Next update Sunday afternoon.

Friday and the Weekend: Choppy with some size
Looks like strong onshore wind continues for Friday and the weekend. Surf should have some size to it. Choppy conditions.

Checking next week the local wind may die down Monday/Tuesday.

Also, models shows a weak low pressure system forming East of the Bahamas. That is an interesting feature that may bring more surf and/or change the wind forecast.

Next update Sunday morning.

Local wind forecast looks like light offshore wind turning onshore in the afternoon.

Thursday through the weekend it looks like stronger onshore wind happens. Should pick the surf size up but be choppy.

Next update Thursday night.

  Friday: 1-3 feet sideshore chop
Friday: 1-3 feet with Northerly winds

Looks to stay on the small side into the weekend. Another cold front, albeit weaker than the last one, looks to swing through Florida on Sunday. High pressure builds behind it Sunday afternoon with NE winds.

Saturday looks to be around 1-3 feet. Local wind forecast is iffy, but maybe light to offshore some time during the day.

Sunday: same size, but with winds picking up from the North then NE into the afternoon. The NE wind should pick up a NE wind chop swell into early next week. Staying on the small side.

Models show another strong low pressure system spinning off of New England Sunday and early week. This system may be off the coast enough to send a long period NE swell to us. Something to keep an eye on. Models don't show much Friday morning but if that system drifts a little further East than what is showing we may see one.

Small and rideable into the weekend. Small and choppy early in the week.

Next update Sunday morning.

  Tuesday: small to barely rideable
Tuesday: small to barely rideable

Strong NW winds look to blow for Tuesday and blowing anything down.

Cold front moving through Florida on Tuesday. We should see NW winds into Wednesday.

The surf looks to stay small/barely rideable all week. Maybe a North swell down in South Florida. Check the reports for there.

No major swell makers are in the long range forecast.

Next update Friday morning.

March 12, 2017
  Sunday: 2-3 feet
Sunday: 2-3 feet

Calm winds in the morning and turning onshore but light in afternoon.

Low pressure looks to form in the Gulf, move over the State and up the coast as a Nor'easter. It looks like it will stay too inshore to kick back a swell. But, maybe a sharp angle North NE sneaks in.

A couple cold fronts look to move through the Florida this week. No major swell makers but that will keep the local wind forecast hard to predict.

Mostly small 2-3 feet the rest of the week with winds switching around a lot.

Next update Monday night.

March 10, 2017
  Friday: small surf offshore wind
Friday: 1-2 feet with offshore winds.

Looks to be pretty small on Friday.

ENE winds pick up into Saturday. This should pick up a onshore wind swell into the afternoon. Sunday looks like onshore wind in the morning with potentially switching offshore into the late afternoon. This would clean the swell up.

Next week looks interesting, weather wise. A low pressure looks to form off of North Florida and move up the coast as a Nor'easter. Friday morning model runs have it hugging the coast too much, but you never know with these systems. Maybe a sharp angle North to NE swell next week.

Next update Sunday morning.
